Client/customer !=3D user. Marketing is about, well, marketing: selling. Marketing is interested in c= ustomers, including helping them. Customers are not the same as users, even when they might be the same peopl= e. An athlete is not the same thing as an astronaut, even when the same pe= rson might be both. A user point of view is about the use of something. A marketing point of v= iew is about the sale of something (a commodity), or keeping existing custo= mers (selling again). There's overlap, and some users also buy some of the products they use. Bu= t use value and exchange value are not the same thing, and customer and use= r are not the same thing.
