After bootstrapping trunk, yesterday, I see the strings "Save" and
"Undo" near their icons... (see attachment). Is this to be expected?

They've been there on the trunk for a while (maybe a year IIRC). It's
as intended (see other GTK applications, which do the same thing).

I do (almost) weekly build of trunk, and on Cygwin [*] I noticed that
only with the yesterday build...
...and out of curiosity, why only "Save" and "Undo"? why not the strings
also for the other icons? :-)
