Heh. And I just today was working on a patch that removes dozens of casts from lisp.h. Maybe I'll have better luck with that one. :-) Anyway, I changed all the size_ts to EMACS_INTs and committed the patch (which fixed other bugs as already mentioned) as bzr 103919.
