By the way, I forgot to say, I audited Emacs last month for every instance of these warnings under GNU/Linux, and fixed all the code where the warnings were legitimate. This was bzr commit 102952, dated January 23. All the remaining warnings (on GNU/Linux, anyway) were therefore bogus, in my opinion, though it wouldn't hurt to have other people check that.
