Subject: Please, change this...
Date: Mon, 09 Aug 2010 12:19:24 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4C5FD62C.7000100@alice.it> (raw)
When 'pc-selection-mode' is on, the menu 'Edit' (GTK build), shows up:
Copy <C-insertchar>
which is very annoying and unattractive [*].
May someone of you, Emacs guys, change it? I would suggest
Copy M-w
(this already occurs when 'pc-selection-mode' is off), or, if you insist
on 'insert char',
Copy C-Ins
in both cases without '<>'!
If you won't at all, may you explain (in the light of [*]) the reasons?
Thanks,
Angelo.
