ah. misread that (misled by context). Things you actually _kill_ I
would expect to be on the clipboard. Things you merely select so that
they are visibly highlighted, not so much - it's that latter behaviour
Eli wanted on w32, and what happens if you turn on
x-select-enable-clipboard on X11 without turning off mouse-drag-copy-region.
