See '?' in the subject. I was not sure it was a BUG.

Are we sure that what I described is bug #6499? There it speaks of Emacs=20
23... instead I observe the bad behavior with Emacs 24 trunk rev.=20
100771. Up to previous rev. I bootstrapped, rev. 100755, I never=20
observed that wrong behavior.
