With rev. 100771, to open a menu item (for example 'Options'), I have to
hold mouse-1 pressed otherwise a simple click opens-closes the it. This
makes difficult to work with menu bar.

Ciao,
Angelo.

See 6499. Rather than asking here, why not file a proper bug report?

See '?' in the subject. I was not sure it was a BUG.

Are we sure that what I described is bug #6499? There it speaks of Emacs
23... instead I observe the bad behavior with Emacs 24 trunk rev.
100771. Up to previous rev. I bootstrapped, rev. 100755, I never
observed that wrong behavior.

Ciao,
Angelo.

I think it is OK to file a bug anyway.

Maybe not, I may have been confused over what was merged in trunk from emacs
23 branch. But now we have your bug report for this problem, thanks!
