The first time (a few days ago), I did
bzr checkout --lightweight http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/emacs/trunk
emacs-trunk
and than, always:
cd emacs-trunk
bzr up
It worked just fine (I did several builds) up to this morning. The trunk
size is
$ du -s emacs-trunk
110M
which is the same I got with 'cvs up...'
