Isn't what we have now sufficient for discovery and setting line-number display on, if that's what someone wants? (Not a snarky or rhetorical question - I'm curious.) How hard is it to find this submenu? `Options' > `Show/Hide' > `Line Numbers for All Lines' Perhaps that submenu should be moved up, before submenu `Scroll Bars', i.e., as the first submenu of `Show/Hide'. And perhaps submenu `Show/Hide' should be moved higher in the `Options' menu. (I've also argued in the past to rename `Options' to `Preferences', as that's more common, and as it covers faces also. That wasn't done.)
