Maybe you can try this with an older build. Thanks. I just tried a build from 2006-12-10. The same problem occurs with XP Pro. Emacs freezes. (C-g does not work, ESC ESC ESC does not work. I just have to kill Emacs and stand beeing asked that blatant and intrusive request "Please tell M... about this problem".)
