Subject: auth, url-http, and url-registered-auth-schemes (Basic auth doesn't work)
Date: Fri, 17 Sep 2004 21:39:51 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <414BBC17.7000805@newsmonster.org> (raw)
I'm playing with trying to get url-http to work with SSL and Basic
authentication.
The problem is that url-registered-auth-schemes is nil.
It looks like there is some infrastructure to support Basic auth but
since this var is nil and hence no mapping from "basic" it won't work
Anyone have any clues as to why this was removed and how to go about
adding it again?
Kevin
