10.12 should be released in the autumn (unfortunately there’s no
firmer date yet). Are we likely to have a new (fixed) release of Emacs
25 within a reasonable time‐scale?

The fix is simply to enable some code that was previously GNUStep only
to run on macOS, so I don’t think it’s a big change.
