Subject: Emacs on Mac does not inherit PATH
Date: Tue, 24 Jun 2014 17:34:11 +0900 (JST) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20140624.173411.1911364463734389159.kazu@iij.ad.jp> (raw)
Hi,
I'm using Emacs HEAD on Mac (Mavericks).
If it is executed from Dock, it does not inherit PATH:
(getenv "PATH")
"/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin"
If it is executed by "open /Applications/Emacs.app", it inherits PATH.
Emacs 24.3 inherits PATH even if it is executed from Dock.
Is this an intentional behavior change?
