I think the development on the Rmail mbox branch stopped. As I am working on the EasyPG support for Rmail, and getting more familiar with the Rmail code, I would be glad to revive this branch. But since I was not part of the previous rewrite effort, it is quite difficult to get an overview of what has been done so far and what still needs to be done. Sadly I haven't eard from Enrik and Alex for ages. I know there is an embryon of a working mbox branch 8but* it is far from complete. What is not quite clear to me is what do people expect from this "rewrite effort" exactly ? I guess the primary goal is to switch to a more "popular" file storage but Alex and Enrik have also worked on the MIME part to, at last, have a decent MIME support (even basic) for us, Rmail users.
