I've since done a make clean on the vm side to ensure that the problem below is not due to compilation mismatches. Problem: (sending this using M-x mail) All vm sending commands, e.g. vm-mail and vm-reply, end up losing the message body upon send. I'm suspecting vm-mail-send -- but am unable to debug it further since debug-on-entry itself signals an error on atempting to debug that function.
