I did not try to give an example that was relevant, but one that
allowed easily to check whether the problem occurred, i.e. whether the
standard-value property got byte compiled. There very definitely are
many relevant examples (actual defcustoms) in the current Emacs
distribution, but I just could not immediately remember their names or
otherwise find them back, so I had to make up a test case, instead of
pointing out one of the actually occurring problems.
