Its features are: Here is what the rcirc author said about riece: I recently tried riece, and was put off by the fact that it took over the screen to create a 5-window layout. There was a texinfo manual, but the English version was incomplete. Personally, I think anything that wants to take over the screen is not the best solution, although certainly there may be other factors. Thanks for mentioning it, in any case.
