Date: Sat, 23 Aug 2003 10:32:00 -0500 (CDT)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200308231532.h7NFW0002069@raven.dms.auburn.edu> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <rjhe4aj5sd.fsf@zuse.dina.kvl.dk> (message from Per Abrahamsen on Fri, 22 Aug 2003 13:22:26 +0200)

Of course,

(define-widget 'other 'item

or:

(define-widget 'other 'const

with suitable adaptations, would solve the problem for 'other, but
_not_ for others that use `widget-field-value-delete', such as 'int.

So it would not make the original problem go away, but it still would
make sense for the reason I gave in my follow-up message: there should
be no editable field for 'other, since there is no real choice.

Sincerely,

Luc.
