Even if you can fix the infinite loop problems, some questions might
remain. How is your code supposed to handle:

which is an actual entry with one critical space removed. The actual
entry starts:

What are your exact rules for which subtopic names are valid and which
ones are not? Is:

a valid subtopic name?
