So please don't. I don't know what version of patch you're using, but I haven't had any such problems with the ones I've used. The only problem is that re-indenting might be necessary after applying the patch, so it is admittedly, not the best way to transmit a diff if the intent is to apply it rather than to look at it, Stefan
