Of course, you may argue "it's because that's what the subject says", but truly I think that if we want to spiff things up, we had better do something that searches through var names, fun names, docstrings and the manuals. For instance all the talk about adding "synonyms" seems to be unnecessary if you consider that an Info-index search will already provide that kind of thing. Stefan
