We are talking about a rewrite of mailabbrev.el, not a replacement with an entirely new package. Most of mailabbrev.el is kept, although there is a fundamental change in the underlying mechanism and mailabbrev.el is moved sufficiently in the direction of mailalias-sendmail to make a unified system very much possible. Due to the increased importance of .mailrc in the new system, there is an entirely new file with functions to write interactively into .mailrc, as well as to help edit .mailrc. _______________________________________________ Emacs-devel mailing list Emacs-devel@gnu.org http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-devel
