If GDB developers add new and undocumented annotations then it makes matters difficult. I will ask them not to do this and perheps this new annotation could be backed out in an imminent respin of GDB (6.1.1). I'm sure GDB developers would say "switch to GDB/MI", but I'm not finding this as easy as it sounds. Nick
