Maybe, but Gnus is the opposite of what I want. Its interface is too
overwhelming for me to use, and it frequently makes Emacs lock up.  Not
something I want for a common task like email.

Plus, I absolutely love "C-x m" or whatever the default mail composition
buffer/mode is called.
