How can I replace in gdb the tracepoint ? The current tracepoint facility works just on remote serial line connections.
Can I replace it somehow?

I forgot to say that I want something better than inserting in the C code calls like
safe_debug_print (Lisp_Object);
etc. Tracepoints would have been ideal.
