Subject: [NonGNU ELPA] New package: disproject
Date: Sat, 9 Nov 2024 15:09:04 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <0dbb4c4b-aa54-410c-9135-523926277a40@gmail.com> (raw)

Hi!

I'd like to propose a package to NonGNU ELPA that I've been working on called
Disproject, which I think is about ready for a v1 tag.

Repository: <https://github.com/aurtzy/disproject>

Here's a brief description of what it does, adapted from the README:

-----
Disproject is a package for Emacs that provides integration with `project.el'
and allows for dispatching various project-related commands via Transient menus.

It is similar to (and inspired by) the function `project-switch-project', but
also attempts to improve on its feature set in addition to the use of Transient,
such as auto-detection of the current project on menu start and customizable
per-project menu commands.
-----

According to my commit logs (3e08d1de9c0cf56bb441a9fb8feebe375c2923c2), I
included the copyright header for "The Magit Project Contributors" because of
some code-copying during the early days of this project, but I don't know how
much of that code is actually left. If it's possible, I would be happy to adjust
as needed (and do the copyright assignment) to contribute this to GNU ELPA instead.

This is my first package; please do point out if I've made a mistake or
forgotten something somewhere!

Cheers,

aurtzy
