Rainbow mode is available from ELPA, but Dired+ is not. So please
report this to the Dired+ developers, or ask them to read your report
here and look into it. (I CC the author of Rainbow mode.)

This seems to be a problem with a third party package Dired+. Since
that is not part of Emacs or GNU ELPA, I'm closing this bug report. If
that's incorrect, please reopen the bug.
