When I invoke Emacs with -q, type C-x m, and start typing
the body text in the message mode, the face
`message-cited-text' (foreground: red) is used for that
text. It should be the default face.

I don't see this with the current CVS trunk after `emacs -Q'. Normal
text is in the default face, text cited with '> ' is in red. What is
the value of `message-cite-prefix-regexp' for you?

I cannot reproduce this with "emacs -Q -f compose-mail" with a fresh
CVS checkout + build:
In GNU Emacs 23.1.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.9)
of 2009-12-02
Bye, Reiner.

Nobody could reproduce this.
