Hi
I'm using emacs all the time. I love the editor.
The only mischief I detect is the annoying crash in the Minibuffer whenever i want to open a file (C-x C-f)
"unknown software exception" (0xc0000029) at 0x7c95eb28
GNU Emacs 23.0.96.1 (i386-mingw-nt51.2600) of 2009-07-09 on SOFT-MJASON

Sounds very minor ;-)

This is a pretest version of Emacs-23.1, i.e. its use has been strongly
discouraged ever since Emacs-23.1 was released.
Please try it again with Emacs-23.1 or with the current pretest of
Emacs-23.2 and if it still fails, please send us back further
information, including a step-by-step recipe to reproduce the problem
starting from "emacs -Q" and a precise description of the problem itself
(e.g. when and where is the error message displayed, what else happens
at that point or right before or right after, ...).
Stefan

This bug is being closed because it could not be reproduced and there
was no response to a request for more information.
If you still see the problem with the latest Emacs release, 23.3,
please reply with the requested information and it can be reopened if needed.

This is a pretest release of Emacs 23.1. There is never a reason to
keep using these once the actual release is made. Please try the
released version of Emacs 23.1.
If you still see the problem with 23.1, it might be helpful if you
could try the pretest for 23.2, available from
http://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/windows
