bug#9013: 24.0.50; builtin GnuTLS logging obscures prompts

When enabling GnuTLS logging (via: (setq gnutls-log-level 1)) and
getting an error such as:

  gnutls.c: [0] (Emacs) fatal error: A TLS packet with unexpected length
  was received.

this message remains in the (minibuffer? echo?) area.

However, there could be a prompt, such as with Gnus:

  How many articles...

but you cannot see it.

This happened to be a benign instance for me because pressing
<return> just gave me the default 200 articles, but other instances
could be less so.

Don't do that, then.  The only reason to increase the log level is if
you're doing debugging.

I was trying to debug why the new STARTTLS SMTP changes weren't working
for me...
