bug#52061: 29.0.50; gnus seems to ignore gnus-parameter-to-list-alist

hmmm, so how do I tell gnus to use mail semantics for followup?

Moreover, I have been using `gnus-parameter-to-list-alist' for 10+
years, and I am pretty sure it used to work, say, 5(?) years ago.
