I updated MSYS2 and can display splash.svg now. But that's a truly
hard case because the image is so small. Fitting the frame to it not
only wraps the tool bar here to three lines but also gets me a two
lines menu bar. The latter, in particular, is something we can hardly
handle on Windows ...
