The behaviour of verify-visited-file-modtime when the associated file does not exist has changed: (let ((tmpfile "/tmp/DOES-NOT-EXIST")) (with-current-buffer (find-file-noselect tmpfile) (verify-visited-file-modtime (current-buffer)))) This returns `t' in the emacs-23 branch, and `nil' in the trunk. It's not immediately obvious to me if this change is intentional.
