Subject: bug#63643: 29.0.91; compilation/grep -mode-tool-bar-map menu initialization not working
Date: Mon, 22 May 2023 13:24:51 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bbb50f4dd7f2f106939f627bb11d47aa@posteo.net> (raw)
Hi,
after reading the code of the compilation-mode function and the
grep-mode
definition, I have the expectation that the results of the
"tool-bar-local-item" calls
in the compilation-mode-tool-bar-map and the grep-mode-tool-bar-map
variable definitions should be append to "Errors" menus of the
respective modes.
However, this does not happen on my setup which is:
GNU Emacs 29.0.91 (build 1, x86_64-apple-darwin20.6.0, NS appkit-2202.70
Version 11.7.1 (Build 20G918)) of 2023-05-20
I have a related documentation comment question:
Why are the IMO useful "n" and "p" compilation-mode-map key bindings not
documented in (Info-goto-node "Compilation Mode")?
Gerard
