Subject: bug#20604: ediff-toggle-skip-similar doesn't work

dear emacs team,

after executing "ediff-revision" on a file with many indentation changes, i tried to reduce the number of presented diffs by pressing

  '##' which maps to 'ediff-toggle-skip-similar'

but the number of diffs stayed unchanged. even pressing

  '!' which maps to 'ediff-update-diffs'

afterwards doesn't improve the situation.

thank you in advance for your kind help.

frank roell

ps. emacs did not crash.

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
/usr/share/emacs/22.3/etc/DEBUG for instructions.
