Thanks. However, I don't think this is a bug. What ispell.el does now was carefully considered, given the 2 possible naming systems used by new-orthography dictionaries. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread

I'm not deeply familiar with this particular issue, and I wanted to make sure I'm handling this the way you'd prefer upstream. It depends on the names under which you distribute the new-orthography German dictionaries. The problem seems to be that there is no single file name for those dictionaries, so the Emacs distribution have chosen the safe alternative, but that alternative sometimes fails. It's possible that you can come up with a better alternative tailored for Debian distributions. In other words, the answer is lurking inside the Debian distribution of Ispell. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread

OK, that makes sense. Didn't know if this was a patch that you wouldn't want applied regardless, or if it should be considered a local integration issue -- thanks for clarifying. -- Rob Browning rlb @defaultvalue.org, @linuxdevel.com, and @debian.org Previously @cs.utexas.edu GPG=1C58 8B2C FB5E 3F64 EA5C 64AE 78FE E5FE F0CB A0AD ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread
