Subject: diff does not work in Windows 2000 for emacs v21-3
Date: Thu, 13 Oct 2005 15:20:00 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <EE5290A8F55F0C4B943C5940B6D73C8B050B1B92@pusmde04.mt.pweh.com> (raw)
When I use the Tools + Compare (Ediff) + 2 files menu option, I get the
error message:
Loading ediff...
apply: Searching for program: no such file or directory, diff3
My compiled emacs came from the emacs-21.3-bin-i386.tar.gz file and my PC
operating system is Windows 2000 5.00.2195. There is indeed no diff3.* file
in my emacs directory.
Do you know what I need to do?
Linda
