The same sort of GC crash related to the symbol clear-temporary-overlay-map
has happened again. The symbol name is different but the crash
looked the same.

Could you please upload the binary and core somewhere on the net?
As the minimum minimorum, I can build cross-gdb and look inside.
Dmitry

I'm sorry that this happens to you, but you've now made 6 separate bugs
reports that all say the same thing. It seems no-one can solve it with
the info available.
To avoid making new bug reports each time, once you've made a bug
report, send any future followup as replies.
(Stefan did already ask this in http://debbugs.gnu.org/15688#26
[ Richard, please send all email related to this issue to this
15688@debbugs.gnu.org address, otherwise the thread is
nightmarish to follow. ] )

If no one else can fix it "right", I will fix it at the Lisp level.
