"make bootstrap" fails recently for me on Windows 8 in the trunk (my
latest good build is 111979), with this output:

I expect someone will fix this, and thanks for reporting it,
but would you please not refer to Windows as a "win"?

I was alluding to the Old English noun, meaning "labour, strife,
conflict", of course, but I'll try to remember.
