Subject: strange From line maker rmail-reply loop
Date: Mon, 17 Dec 2007 13:58:27 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1J4FYB-0008O6-KU@tucano.isti.cnr.it> (raw)
On GNU Emacs 22.1.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.10.13) of
2007-08-22 on excelsior, modified by Debian, I received an email with a
From line like this:
From: "kk \"zz\" ll" <n@a.b.c>
I am not sure whether this conforms to rfc822, but anyway rmail looped
when I hit "r" to reply to it.
Reproducing this depends on your configuration, but if you want I can
build a fake mail message that you can then read using C-u M-x rmail
RET, and send it to you as an attachment.
