Subject: diff-default-read-only doesn't work
Date: Wed, 05 Jul 2006 03:36:20 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1Fxqh2-00052v-N2@jidanni1> (raw)

In emacs-version "22.0.50.1" Not only is
(setq diff-default-read-only t); broken, no effect
But also one cannot do
(setq diff-mode-hook (function (lambda()(toggle-read-only 1))))
(like one can do for compilation-mode-hook), as it is called too early.
