Important settings:
  value of $LC_ALL: nil
  value of $LC_COLLATE: nil
  value of $LC_CTYPE: nil
  value of $LC_MESSAGES: nil
  value of $LC_MONETARY: nil
  value of $LC_NUMERIC: nil
  value of $LC_TIME: nil
  value of $LANG: nil
  locale-coding-system: nil
  default-enable-multibyte-characters: nil

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:


M-s C-/ moves the point to the beginning of the line
whenever the line is "left justified"
 but not when there is some whitespace 
 at the beginning of the line.

I think M-s C-/ should always leave the point where it was
before the key sequence was pressed!

I get a "M-s is undefined" error.  What is M-s bound to, and by what library?
