Why not? Or shorter, reflecting syntax-class designator chars:
Isearchw - word
Isearch_ - symbol
I searchw - word, lax whitespace
I search_ - symbol, lax whitespace
(I still think `I SEARCH_' is better than `i search_' for
case-insensitive search.)
