It's usually a case of unusual process scheduling in the ci machine that my code isn't accounting for. It'd be better to analyze the code to figure out what might be happening (Something that I haven't done yet...) Also IIRC there's a reference in the test code to a mysterious existing bug somewhere... Maybe someone with deeper knowledge of Emacs's processes can take a look too.
