The more panes I have open, the longer it takes to come back. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes. It's possible it is doing an even slower drawing update while the wheel spins, but I don't see any obvious drawing like I did in the older version. Hi! I can't replicate this in Emacs 25. Would it b= e possible for you to
test it with Emacs 25 and see if you still get this problem?

I'm not using Aquamacs, but I notice they have a preview of 25 = available.
