This is a feature request to make function `emacs-uptime' consistent
with function `emacs-version' in supporting an optional argument HERE to
"insert string at point", and to have this option interpreted as the
prefix-argument for interactive use. An example use-case would be
inserting the data into email correspondence or bug reports.

is something some people want? I really don't care either way, but
maybe we could appease these users? We already have a patch available

Actually, it was only the bugs that was merged. Your bug now has the
same status as the old one ("wontfix").
