You can remove the checking command
(add-hook 'eshell-mode-hook
(lambda ()
(remove-hook 'eshell-alternate-command-hook
'eshell-fix-bad-commands t)))
or some variant of it. The command is added to the hook unconditionally,
with no customization option, AFAICS.
