Subject: bug#19211: 25.0.50; move-end-of-line goes to start of buffer in -batch
Date: Fri, 28 Nov 2014 20:20:50 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAA01p3pFbwWw8OgLJB2tg7Pi_zXBrqAXEO6Q7mEek8wCR_k0JQ@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hi,
To reproduce, create a file "test-eol.el" with:
#+begin_src elisp
(defun test-eol ()
(message "%S"
(with-temp-buffer
(insert "foobar")
(goto-char 1)
(move-end-of-line nil)
(point))))
#+end_src
Then test:
emacs -batch -Q -l test-eol.el -f test-eol
=> 1
Works fine for the old one:
emacs23 -batch -Q -l test-eol.el -f test-eol
=> 7
Also works fine without -batch.
regards,
Oleh
