From the installer

 

runemacs.exe -Q

(native-comp-available-p) and C-x C-e returns nil

 

However I can confirm that holidays are indeed accepted and work as intend in emacs 28.2.

Maybe a regression in emacs30 or a bug introduced in the windows build from that repo?

Also since native-comp is disabled on windows, is there perhaps some kind of drawback I’m not

aware of in windows compared to other operating systems? Unfortunately I have to use Windows

for now.
